Our music stand is exclusively designed and built by the J. A. Sinclair & Son Company. It is constructed from fine Mahogany wood and highly polished Brass components. 

One of the main reasons for the original design of the stand was to protect a valuable Grand Piano from dust, insects, or any other long-acting damaging conditions. To place sheet music on any standard Grand Piano, the top front plate has to be open. It is right under this top plate the entire costly mechanism of the instrument is located, making it exposed and vulnerable to damage and eventually diminished performance qualities. 

Play your Grand Piano with the top plate  closed. Our exclusive Sheet Music Stand allows you to place your favorite sheet music on top of the piano without the need to keep the top lid open. This will protect  very delicate mechanical parts such as hammer assemblies, key mechanisms etc.
